Mellow Mood Ltd was founded in 1997 by Jordanian businessmen Sameer Hamdan and Zuhair Awad. Originally the company operated youth hostels and hotels but over the years expanded its profile with different businesses. Today, as Mellow Mood Group, the company still achieves its success in tourism however the network of businesses now include property investment, web design an book-keeping divisions as well.

As a result of the experience and progress of Mellow Mood Group, the units of the company play a leading role in Hungarian tourism. The number of hotels operating under the Mellow Mood flag is constantly growing. According to the brand standards established in 2007, Mellow Mood Group now features five main brands.
